QualityPack was founded by Mr Chai Bui Chin together with his wife Madam Ho Yeat Seong, starting from a small shoplot on Old Klang Road. In those early days, packaging bottles arrived packed in cartons that had to be unloaded and stacked by hand, one by one — a far cry from the operation we run today.
As demand grew, the business slowly expanded into the shop next door, then into progressively bigger warehouses. This period also marked our move into bulk pallet trading of glass bottles, backed by the purchase of our first forklift — second-hand, but a milestone nonetheless.
To keep pace with ever-increasing demand for speed and reliability, we took over Unic Plastics Industries Sdn Bhd, beginning in-house production of our own caps and inserts. What started with just 12 machines has since grown steadily, as we've continued investing in additional machinery to expand capacity.
What began as a local supplier grew to serve customers across Malaysia and East Malaysia, and beyond our borders into Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia — delivering via our own fleet and trusted third-party transporters.
A new branch opened in Johor Bahru to better serve customers across Southern Malaysia and Singapore, bringing us closer to our growing base of customers in the south.
We now operate three warehouses — two in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, and one in Johor — with capacity for at least 2,000 pallets of stock across our locations, ensuring sufficient supply for every order, wherever our customers are.

Eligible manufacturers can purchase packaging materials tax-exempt under Malaysia's Sales Tax exemption schemes (e.g. Schedule C / CJ(P)). We assist customers with the exemption process, helping reduce your overall packaging costs.
